Fitbit

Leading university hospitals Zürich and Lausanne, and Actelion Pharmaceuticals as sponsor, launch a study (LONGACT), which correlates activity data of participants with medical observations. The participants of the study receive Fitbit bands as trackers. The activity data from these bands are securely consolidated in an alabus registry and made available to the medical specialists for analysis. This is the first big data project on the alabus platform.
